Hi, I’m Olivia.

Children are some of our greatest gifts, and I understand how important it is to find care that feels safe, supportive, and truly attuned to you and your child’s needs. I strive to create a space where children, teens, and families feel seen, understood, and supported just as they are.

 

I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy. I support children and adolescents with anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, autism, and life transitions, and I enjoy working closely with families to strengthen connection and communication within the home. In my work, I integrate play therapy, art therapy, and creative expression alongside mind–body approaches to support nervous system regulation. I am also a certified expert-level sound bath practitioner and yoga instructor. I incorporate body-based tools in ways that feel engaging and accessible for each child, such as mindfulness, gentle movement, and breathwork, to help children feel more grounded and connected to their emotions.

 

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Disability Studies from Chapman University, and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have experience in both school-based and adolescent residential treatment settings, supporting children, teens, and families across a range of emotional and behavioral needs. As a first-generation Swede with strong family roots in Sweden, I value cultural identity and the ways it shapes our experiences. Having grown up in San Diego, I feel deeply connected to this community and honored to support the families within it.
